on may 8, the 100,000-ton terminal project of zhoushan power plant, operated by the zhejiang branch of chn energy, was put into operation.
this project is the supporting terminal of the zhoushan power plant phase iii 2×660 mw expansion project. with a 100,000-ton bulk cargo berth and related facilities, the terminal has an annual designed throughput capacity of 6.8 million tons, which can allow bulk cargo vessels ranging from 10,000 tons to 100,000 tons to berth.
the terminal has been comprehensively upgraded in terms of environmental protection and intelligence, equipped with intelligent coal unloading systems, smart shore power, intelligent berthing systems, and intelligent inspection systems along the coal unloading line, which not only improves the efficiency of coal unloading operations but also ensures the safety and precision of the entire operation process. the fully enclosed grab buckets effectively reduce coal spillage during operations. the high-pressure dry fog dust suppression system significantly reduces dust.
